SPOTLIGHT: HTEC Alum & 2nd Year Apprentice -- Seven Breaux

October is College and Career Readiness month!

In order to celebrate and increase exposure to college and career opportunities, Allen Smith, Chief of the Culture, Equity and Leadership Team at DPS showcased the CareerConnect Apprenticeship program on EDUCA radio. Work-Based Learning Coordinator, Emily Takimoto, HTEC Alum Seven Breaux, and Seven’s Apprenticeship supervisor, Scott Altman, Senior Field Engineer with the University of Colorado Denver Campus, were interviewed to discuss how this program supports students in breaking down barriers in both access to college and career.
