What better way to learn about the CareerConnect Apprenticeship program than to speak to apprentices themselves!

Join us in the HTEC Work-Based Learning Center on Friday, November 2nd during 7th period to hear from current apprentices about their experiences with balancing work and school. Students will be able to ask the apprentices questions such as: why they chose the program, what does the program offer, what are the pros and cons to participating, and much more!

The CareerConnect Apprenticeship program, in partnership with CareerWise, is a three-year, hands-on learning experience where you step out of the classroom, and get trained and paid for doing meaningful work for a company/organization... all while finishing high school on time. An apprenticeship prepares you for a high-demand career and paves the way to college, all while equipping you with the tools to reach your professional and educational goals.

Student complete apprenticeships with a major competitive advantage in the workforce

Please visit Ms. Emily Takimoto and HTEC's new Apprenticeship Coordinator Jessie Rula in the Work-Based Learning Center, B115, for follow-up questions and eligibility. Also, be sure to stop by and confirm your spot to the CareerPeer Panel on Friday, November 2nd! You will report to B115 right after 6th period (attendance will be excused for 7th period). Don't miss out on this opportunity scholars!
